Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Ms Tiffin. These Terms & Conditions outline the rules, policies, and practices for using our services. By placing an order, subscribing to a tiffin plan, or interacting with our website, you agree to the following terms.

1. Overview

 

 

Ms Tiffin offers Indian tiffin meals, restaurant dishes, bhaji, catering, and mithai. Our services include one-time orders, subscriptions, and Flex Pack plans. These Terms apply to all services unless otherwise specified.

 


 

 

2. Definitions

 

 

  • “Tiffin” refers to an individual meal, typically including daal, sabji, roti, rice, and accompaniments.

  • “Flex Pack” means a prepaid bundle of 20, 30, or 40 tiffins, redeemable on demand.

  • “Subscription” refers to recurring delivery plans (e.g. 6 days per week for 4 weeks).

  • “Month” refers to a 4-week billing cycle, not a calendar month.

  • “Customer” refers to anyone purchasing or subscribing to Ms Tiffin services.

 

 


 

 

3. Tiffin Subscriptions & Flex Packs

 

 

  • Subscriptions are billed every 4 weeks unless paused or cancelled in advance.

  • Flex Packs are prepaid and have a fixed usage window:

     

    • 20-pack = 50 days

    • 30-pack = 75 days

    • 40-pack = 100 days

     

  • Tiffins not redeemed within the window are forfeited and do not roll over.

  • Flex Packs renew automatically unless cancelled.

 

 


 

 

4. Billing & Commitments

 

 

  • All prices are listed in CAD and billed securely through our online platform.

  • Commitment plans (2 or 3 months) offer discounted pricing and are billed monthly.

  • If a commitment plan is cancelled early, your refund will be recalculated based on the 1-month rate, and the discount will be reversed.

 

 


 

 

5. Cancellations & Restocking Fee

 

 

  • Customers may cancel individual tiffins by providing notice at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Cancelled tiffins are subject to a 15% restocking fee, which accounts for food prep, packaging, and administrative time.

  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows are non-refundable.

 

 


 

 

6. Delivery & Pickup

 

 

  • Delivery is available throughout the Lower Mainland based on postal code eligibility.

  • Delivery fees vary by zone and are calculated at checkout.

  • Pickup is free from our Fraser Street kitchen during operating hours.

  • Ms Tiffin is not responsible for missed deliveries due to incorrect information or customer absence.

 

 


 

 

7. Refunds & Early Cancellations

 

 

  • Subscription and Flex Pack purchases are non-refundable once meals have been redeemed.

  • Refunds for commitment plans are prorated based on usage and subject to recalculated pricing.

  • Flex Packs are not eligible for partial refunds after the first tiffin is used.

 

 


 

 

8. Modifications & Special Requests

 

 

  • Customers may update survey preferences (e.g., carb mix, add-ons) at any time by resubmitting the intake form or emailing our team.

  • We do our best to accommodate dietary requests (e.g., no onions, low spice), but cross-contamination is possible.

  • Menu items and portion sizes are subject to change based on availability.

 

 


 

 

9. Group Orders

 

 

  • Group orders must be delivered to a single address and meet the minimum group size for discounts.

  • One group member must act as the main point of contact.

  • Group perks may change depending on availability, promotions, or group size.

 

 


 

 

10. Allergy Disclaimer

 

 

We operate a kitchen that handles common allergens including dairy, gluten, nuts, and soy. While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

 


 

 

11. Use of the Term “Month”

 

 

Throughout our website and product pages, the term “month” refers to a 4-week cycle (28 days). This ensures consistency and transparency across our subscription billing and service commitments.

 


 

 

12. Changes to Terms

 

 

Ms Tiffin reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted to this page with the revised effective date. Continued use of our service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
