From Subscriptions and Flex Packs to group orders and gulabjamuns — everything you need to know, all in one place.

What comes in a tiffin?

A Regular Tiffin includes 1 sabji, 1 daal, 6 rotis and rice, raita, and dessert once a week. Portions vary by plan size, and we have 4 different sizes available for subscription: Essential, Mini, Regular, and Family. Our Flex Pack's are only available in Regular Size. 

Do you offer vegetarian and non-vegetarian options?

Yes! All tiffins are vegetarian by default. Non-veg upgrades are available on Mon/Wed/Fri.

Can I customize my tiffin?

Yes. Choose your carb mix, upgrade to parathas, add non-veg, and opt in for Mithai of the Week.

What's the difference between a Flex Pack and a Subscription?

A Flex Pack gives you a set number of tiffins (20, 30, or 40) that you can use whenever you want within a set time frame — no fixed days required. You choose when to eat, and the pack renews automatically when your window ends.

 

A Subscription, on the other hand, delivers tiffins on a regular schedule (6 days a week for 4 weeks). It’s perfect if you like a consistent routine and don’t want to think about reordering.

How long do I have to use my Flex Pack?

You get 2.5 days per tiffin — 20-pack = 50 days, 30-pack = 75 days, 40-pack = 100 days.

What if I finish my Flex Pack early?

You can renew early and reset your window at any time.

Do unused Flex Pack tiffins carry over?

No — use them before the window closes.

How do I schedule my Flex Pack?

You can choose between fixed days (Monday, Thursday and Friday only), or menu-based weekly selections (Aloo Gobhi, Butter Chicken, and Daal Makhani). 

 

If you opt for menu-based, we will send you our upcoming week's menu on Friday, and you just have to get back to us with your selection. 

Is delivery available?

Yes. We deliver across the Lower Mainland or you can pick-up for free at our Fraser Street location. 

Do the prices on your website include delivery?

No, delivery is calculated when you checkout and is based on your location. 

How is delivery priced?

Delivery is calculated by postal code at checkout. 

How does billing work?

Subscriptions renew every four weeks. Flex packs renew when your redemption window ends. 

Can I cancel or pause?

Yes — you can cancel or pause anytime before your next billing date. If you cancel, there is a re-stocking fee of 15% of your refundable amount. 

What is a commitment?

A commitment means you’re signing up for a longer plan — like 2 or 3 months — and receiving discounted pricing in return. It’s a way to save while staying nourished over time.

 

You’re still billed monthly, but the savings apply right away. If you decide to cancel early, your refund will be adjusted based on our standard 1-month pricing.

What's a Group Buy?

A way to save by ordering with friends, roommates, or coworkers to one address.

How many people do I need for a Group Buy?

Groups of 3+ qualify for group pricing.

How do I start a Group Buy?

Fill out the group form on our site and we’ll guide you through it.

What's included in the Student Special?

The student special is a low-cost special for students and requires a three month commitment. They are smaller portioned tiffins with full flavour and budget pricing. If you are not a student and would like access to the student special (say for a senior), please reach out to us and we will be happy to help. 

Can I get a refund if I cancel my subscription early?

Yes — but if you cancel a 2- or 3-month plan early, your refund will be recalculated based on our 1-month rate. There is also a 15% restocking fee as we have already bulk purchased ingredients to service your tiffin. 

Are Flex Packs refundable?

No — Flex Packs are prepaid and non-refundable once activated.

Do you offer catering?

Yes! Weddings, office lunches, community events — we’ve got you covered. Get in touch with us at info@mstiffin.ca, and we would be happy to help. 

How much notice do you need for catering?

We can have a catering order ready in 48-72 hours. Reach out early if its for the weekend. 

Do you sell bhaji in bulk?

Yes! We offer bulk orders of fried snacks and sweets for weddings, family gatherings, and special occasions. Whether you're planning to share matri, shakarpare, ladoos, or something else, we’ve got you covered. Visit our Mithai & Bhaji page or get in touch for pricing and lead times.
